We had a lovely stay where they surprised my husband with a birthday card, chilled wine, and cake in our room, which made our trip super special. The hotel has a charming courtyard that’s perfect for chilling out with a book. A cool rooftop terrace for sunset views. The room was a bit snug, but it didn’t take away from our overall experience, and I’d definitely recommend checking it out! 🎉

The location is unbeatable, situated right in the heart of everything Porto has to offer. I loved being within walking distance of various attractions, including the famed Cathedral and the lively Ribeira area. The highlight of my stay was the excellent breakfast spread that featured delicious pastel de nata and homemade cakes, leaving a lasting impression on me.

The A.S. 1829 is ideally located in the pedestrian zone of Porto, allowing easy access to nearby restaurants and attractions. The room was spacious and comfortable, featuring a modern design with vintage touches. Breakfast offered a wide variety, including fresh pastries and local delicacies, which enhanced my stay.

The bathroom was nice, but the tiny tub didn’t work out well for showering. water went everywhere and the room felt a bit cramped. Overall, comfy enough, but some quirks to consider.
